It’s this strain of bacteria that is essential to Vitamin K2. We’ve taken our inspiration from this ancient recipe, but fermented chickpeas instead of soybeans to avoid any potential GMOs or allergens.

Vitamin K is actually a group of vitamins, the two most important being K1 and K2. Vitamin K1 is more common in our diets than K2, but is poorly absorbed in comparison. Vitamin K2 has also shown to have benefits that can not be recreated with vitamin K1. With this in mind, our Vitamin K2 gives you a highly biologically active form of the vitamin - one that is 10 times more efficiently absorbed in your body than vitamin K1 from spinach.
Another significant difference between K1 and K2? Just how long the vitamins stay in the body. Vitamin K1 disappears from circulation fast, but this is also true for some forms of vitamin K2 (namely MK-4). By contrast, the form in this supplement, MK-7, lasts far longer.
