ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Dressing is a sterile, advanced wound care product designed for the management of moderate to highly exuding wounds. Its innovative hydrofiber technology transforms upon contact with wound fluid to create a soft gel that helps manage exudate, supports the wound healing environment, and is designed for patient comfort during dressing changes.

Key Features & Indications for Use

  • Advanced Exudate Management* – The hydrofiber material is designed to absorb and retain wound fluid, helping to lock in exudate and maintain a moist wound environment conducive to healing.

  • Supports Patient Comfort* – The dressing is stitch-bonded for strength yet soft and gel-forming, aiming to be gentle on the wound bed and surrounding skin during application and removal to help minimise trauma and pain.

  • Versatile Wound Care Application* – Suitable for use on a variety of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and traumatic wounds.

  • Convenient & Secure Use* – The dressing is latex-free, can be cut to size, is moldable to body contours, and provides a waterproof barrier. The 15cm x 15cm (6" x 6") square shape offers versatile coverage.

  • Trusted Clinical Brand* – Manufactured by ConvaTec, a leader in advanced wound care with decades of experience developing clinically-proven healthcare products.
